How long to date before sex?

How long should you date someone before having sex with them? I'm 15 and I've been seeing my boyfriend for 4 months. To start with, we just make out but recently it's been getting more serious, he touches me down there, but he doesn't put his fingers inside me.

I'm not ready to have sex now, I want to wait until I'm 16 before I do, but I just wondered how long you think you should date someone before sex? Also, if he is touching me down there, should I be touching him down there too? Is there a right or wrong way to do that?
My boyfriend isn't putting any pressure on me to have sex and I like it when he touches me. I just wondered what people thought. Is it really so bad to have sex before you're married? I don't think I could wait that long!

I would wait a while if it is your first time. Many people say they regret their first time. Just make sure you are ready.

As for touching... do what feels right.. there is no right or wrong way at your age, just experiment and see what feels good to you and to him.
