Question by sadingle: My husband is a "non-sexual person"?

I'm an American who married a Nepali man, I'm 28, he's 25, no it wasn't for a green card, we have a deep emotional connection... He told me when we met that he is a "non-sexual" person.. I accepted this as his meaning he doesn't always need to have sex to be intimate. I was wrong. This man doesn't like to be kissed, touched, or even complimented on his looks...When we have sex, although I can see he physically enjoys it, he's mentally and emotionally detached.. I know he's only doing it to please me, but because of that fact alone, it's unsatisfying to me. To me, sexuality and physical affection may have a fine line between them, but they are different, and I can't live without the intimacy.. I don't think it's so much of a cultural thing, because I've been with other Nepali men and it was never an issue.. Quite the opposite in fact... It's killing me because I love my husband, but I'm thinking about going outside the relationship just to get the passion and tenderness I need.. I don't ask for much... We've talked about it, he says that this is exactly what has ruined his past relationships, that this is the way he was born, and that he could change any other thing about himself except this. The only thing left to do is for me to change, and I feel as though my desires are healthy and natural, and I don't think I should have to change that...he must be the only man on Earth who complains about having a horny wife!!

WELL...................................I AM SORRY FOR YOU...I AM AN OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNECOLOGIST AND I SEE CASES LIKE THIS AND I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT PAIN YOU SUFFER................BUT TO TELL U THE TRUTH.THIS IS IRREPAIRABLE SO EITHER TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.........A HORNY WIFE IS A BLESS BUT NOT ALL MEN APPRECIATE IT...............WISH YOU THE BEST.
