Question by kdfjj K: What's the legality of public sex?

This is for UK law - is it illegal to "get it on" outdoors and if so does it apply to everywhere or just public places? My girlfriend loves having sex outside, but only in remote fields, places like that... not in front of other people or anything. Naturally we go on a lot of spontaneous camping trips now that I know about her preference... but is it allowed?

In the UK, that's public indecency, and even on nudist beaches it is illegal. If you do it in a tent, that's considered a 'private place', so that is legal. Because a car has windows, and is generally parked in a public location like a road, that isn't considered a private place.
